The Crossroads® Backpack in 22L, 27L and 35L are carry-on compatible with most airlines. Many carriers allow at least 55 x 20 x 30 cm – with budget airlines being the exception. Always check with your provider before travelling.


The Ranchero™ 22L and Ranchero™ 27L also fit carry-on, and they double as capable day bags or travel backpacks once you land.


The Crossroads® 40L Duffel also works as a cabin bag; the Crossroads® 60L Duffel is checked baggage only.

YETI® travel backpacks are designed to accommodate most 13" and 15" laptops. For travel rucksacks with a laptop sleeve built in, see the Ranchero™ 22L or 27L, the Crossroads® 22L, 27L or 35L.

When it comes to backpacks, our 22L packs are sized for commuting or day trips, and the 27L adds a bit more. For overnight travellers, the 35L travel bags handle most carry-on limits and fit enough for weekend trips or slightly longer – a few items of clothing, a toiletries bag and your electronics.


The Crossroads® 40L Duffel covers 3–4 days as a travel duffel bag; the Crossroads® 60L goes checked for longer trips. Panga® Duffels run 50L, 75L, and 100L for serious expeditions or checked luggage with room to spare.

Our 27L backpacks generally hold five or six medium Crossroads® Packing Cubes, or two large ones – depending how you pack them. Most people mix and match different sizes to make the most of the space.


Toss one or several packing cubes into your travel bag to stay organised and on top of your game. The ripstop nylon outer shell and sturdy double-layer walls mean they hold their shape when you're packing. A wrap-around expansion zipper gives you extra room when you need it, then compresses back down when you don't.

All Crossroads® and Ranchero™ Backpacks have a dedicated bottle pocket sized for 26 oz Rambler Bottles. Larger YETI® drinkware or tumblers with a side handle will need to go in the main compartment. For bottles that are safe to toss and go, shop our 100% leakproof designs.

All YETI® backpacks are engineered for a comfortable carry. Ranchero™ Backpacks are built with a contoured back panel and padded shoulder straps with load lifters, which pull the bag in towards your centre of gravity and reduce shoulder strain. They're a comfortable companion for day trips and short treks.


Crossroads® Backpacks are designed as daybags – they have padded straps and a structured back panel suited to commuting and travel. The Panga® 28L Waterproof Backpack includes a sternum strap and padded shoulder harness for heavier loads.

Our Crossroads® 40L Duffel can be carried on, but make sure to check with your airline before travelling. The Crossroads® 60L Duffel will be a checked bag.
